Participants in the Fun! Learning! Chess Camps will learn beginner chess concepts
& activities; starting with piece movements, chess puzzles, basic mating
webs, & chess playing Learning CHESS will help your child develop abstract
thinking, build self-confidence, think before acting, strengthen critical
and analytic thinking, learn sportsmanship and have fun! The Chess Camp is
designed for kids 5-14 years old. Kids will LEARN CHESS and compete in a
chess tournament where trophies will be given for excellence in learning!
An interactive chess workbook will be given to each participant.
Returning students are encouraged to bring a laptop or tablet for online tournament participation.
